Welcome to all Masters provincial players taking part in the Nineteenth SA Masters Squash doubles IPT being hosted by Western Province Masters, in Cape Town, for the third time. As always, we extend a special welcome to our friends from across the border in Zimbabwe, who have always been great supporters of the SAM doubles IPT, right since inception in 2004.
Our thanks go to the Western Province organising committee, under Sarah Howie & Penny Cobbledick, for their planning and organising of one of the most enjoyable tournaments on the Master’s squash calendar.
To those players taking part in their first SAM doubles IPT, we trust that this will be the first of many tournaments to come.
Please remember that protective eyewear is compulsory – no wear, no play !
This is a World Squash rule for doubles and is a Squash SA mandatory requirement.
Please be proactive and contribute your share to the marking and refereeing duties.
Enjoy the experience of taking part in the SA Masters doubles – make the most of your visit to the beautiful Western Cape, and all the amenities on offer.

ipt match venues
The squash complexes which may be used during the course of the week are spread evenly across the Peninsula (Southern and Northern Suburbs) and are within easy access from the preferred and recommended accommodation.
We will be using the following squash complexes during the week:
– Camps Bay Squash Club
– Fish Hoek Squash Club
– WPCC (Western Province Cricket Club)
– VOB
– Kelvin Grove
– Villager Squash
Matches will be scheduled for a full day at the match venue. This will be communicated to players and updated in due course on this website.
The ball to be used will be the Dunlop Pro Squash Ball (double yellow dot).
criteria for entry
In accordance with SA Master’s Squash IPT Doubles Rules, players must be SSA registered on SportyHQ, and registered as a SA Masters Squash player.
– Men: 35 years or older as at 7 November 2024
– Ladies: 30 years or older as at 7 November 2024

Teams will be responsible for their own transport to Cape Town and to the venues for the duration of the IPT.
Cape Town International Airport is 15km away from WPCC, an approximate 30 minute drive. Please take this into consideration when planning any flights and travel before and after the week.
Airport transfers are not possible through the WP Masters Squash or SA Masters Squash. Own arrangements will need to be made by teams.
